Edinburgh Q-Step Conference 2019

Edinburgh Q-Step Centre is pleased to invite you to attend a conference: practice makes perfect! Putting a spotlight data-driven work placements

This half-day conference has two aims. First, to share best practice from student placements involving data analysis. Second, to discuss what future work-based learning programmes designed for developing the skills and talents of tomorrow’s data scientists might look like. The event will bring together academics and non-academics who take an interest in developing, implementing and assessing bespoke work placements. A provisional list of speakers includes Q-Step (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester), Edinburgh Futures Institute, The DataLab, Scotcen, MBN and the Nuffield Foundation.
